Salary: Circa £25,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37 hours a week F/T (Job sharing will be considered)
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st December 2024 (with the possibility of renewal)
Responsible to: Head of Business Support
Project/area: Projects
Location: Flexible home/office working with substantial outreach work in community settings

Key purpose: Targeting and increasing Macmillan services to people who often experience health inequalities, including racially minoritised communities, and people in long term poverty, mainly in Northampton.

About the role
​
CENCA has been commissioned to deliver benefits advice to families who have been affected by, and those individuals that have been diagnosed with cancer. Working in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and with nurses and practitioners from the NHS, social services and community organisations, you will be receiving referrals so that individuals and families diagnosed with and affected by cancer can gain access to the welfare advice that they need, with an emphasis on reducing health inequalities.
